FAQ'S
1
WHAT IF I'VE ALREADY HAD AN EYE EXAMINATION?
Did your eye doctor recommend vision therapy or a vision therapy evaluation? We work closely with the eye doctors in our area to provide patients with the best care. You can contact your eye doctor to have them set up your appointment with us or you can call us and schedule it and we will keep your eye doctor informed of any testing that we do.
If your eye doctor did not recommend vision therapy but you are still experiencing visual symptoms it may be appropriate to set up an appointment with us for a second opinion. We do vision testing that not all eye doctors do at a routine eye exam.
2
I'M NOT SURE IF VISION THERAPY IS RIGHT FOR ME?
You don't have to make a decision on whether or not to pursue vision therapy until you have a complete understanding of your diagnosis. There is a three step examination process to determine if vision therapy is necessary and what treatment plan Dr. Emmert recommends. All of these results are thoroughly discussed before therapy begins.
However, if you are unsure about scheduling an examination, Dr. Emmert will be happy to meet with you for a no charge consultation and answer any questions you may have about vision therapy before getting started.
