Dr. Jordan Beckstead

Doctorate: OD, Pacific University College of Optometry ​​
Dr. Beckstead was born and raised in the Willamette Valley. He started his venture into optometry at our Oregon Vision Development Center working with Dr. Emmert as a Vision Therapist for over 6 years before attending Pacific University College of Optometry. His special interest is in binocular vision, vision therapy and rehabilitation, visual performance and pediatric care .

​Dr. Stephanie Emmert and Dr. Kelly Batey founded River View Family Eyecare in 2010, the Oregon Vision Development Center Albany in 2015 and the Oregon Vision Development Center Eugene in 2022. Dr. Emmert has had the privilege of working with thousands of patients to provide comprehensive eye health exams, prescribe glasses and contact lenses, treat and manage ocular diseases and resolve more complex visual issues with lens prescribing and vision therapy.
She is a member of the College of Optometrists in Vision Development (COVD), the Neuro-Optometric Rehabilitation Association (NORA) and the College of Syntonic Optometry.
She is especially passionate about working to improve the quality of life of patients who experience post-concussion vision symptoms and finding solutions for patients who experience double vision.
