Dr. Stephanie Emmert

Optometrist

                     Doctorate:             OD, Southern College of Optometry

​

​Dr. Stephanie Emmert and Dr. Kelly Batey founded River View Family Eyecare in 2010, the Oregon Vision Development Center Albany in 2015 and the Oregon Vision Development Center Eugene in 2022. Dr. Emmert has had the privilege of working with thousands of patients to provide comprehensive eye health exams, prescribe glasses and contact lenses, treat and manage ocular diseases and resolve more complex visual issues with lens prescribing and vision therapy.

 

She is a member of the College of Optometrists in Vision Development (COVD), the Neuro-Optometric Rehabilitation Association (NORA) and the College of Syntonic Optometry.

 

She is especially passionate about working to improve the quality of life of patients who experience post-concussion vision symptoms and finding solutions for patients who experience double vision.

                                             Fellow, College of Optometrists in Vision Development

​

Dr. Salzano completed an additional year of residency in pediatrics and vision therapy with the renowned faculty at SCCO. He is passionate about improving the visual efficiency and development of all patients, from infants, to athletes, to special needs, to patients with brain injuries and beyond.

 

He is a member of the College of Optometrists in Vision Development (COVD) and also serves as a member of the American Optometric Association’s Sports and Performance Vision Committee.

 

Much of his time is spent as an ​Assistant Professor and Chief of Vision Therapy and Pediatrics at Pacific University's College of Optometry.
